Before practicing critical thinking, it's important to know how government works. Here's why:

So this page and its links are a short review of the essential government knowledge that you need. Please read and study the material on the following links. Many of the questions on the Proficiency Test come from these pages. Since some people know this information, and others do not, you might try to take the test if you think you recall most of the basics.
